Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
Credit Interest Calculator ("we," "us," or "our") operates creditinterestcalculator.com. This page explains, in plain language, what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices and rights you have. It describes our actual practices and is not legal advice. See also our Terms of Use.
The short version
This is a static tools site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and shows no ads. The calculators run entirely in your browser, and the numbers you enter are never sent to us or stored. We collect almost nothing about you.
Information we collect
- Calculator inputs: any values you enter into a calculator are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to or stored on our servers.
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (for example your IP address, browser type, and the time of your request) for security and reliable operation. These are not used to identify you personally and are retained only for a limited period.
- Contact form: if you send a message through our contact page, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit, and we keep it only as long as needed to respond.
Cookies and third parties
Credit Interest Calculator does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The only third-party service the site currently loads is Google Fonts, which delivers the site's typefaces. Google may log your IP address when your browser requests those fonts, though Google Fonts does not set cookies for this purpose. See Google's privacy policy.
The site does not currently run Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or any advertising network, and it contains no affiliate links. If analytics or advertising is added later, this policy will be updated to name those services and describe their cookies, and a cookie-consent banner will be added for visitors who need one.
Your privacy rights (California and other US states)
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. A small site like this generally falls below the thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws, but we honor these rights in good faith: the right to know what we hold about you, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (which we do not do). We also respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. To exercise a right, reach us through our contact page.
EU and UK visitors (GDPR)
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, erase, port, or object to the processing of your personal data. Because the site collects almost no personal data and sets no non-essential cookies, there is very little to act on, but you can reach us through our contact page with any request. Our lawful basis for the limited processing above (keeping server logs and replying to your messages) is our legitimate interest in running a secure, functional website and responding to you.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, especially if we add analytics or advertising. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
